Sugarfoot

Theodore Sugarfoot, a broken-down soul singer from the 1980’s, whose fame and hit records long ago faded, and is now reduced to performing in a Musical Revue show on Blackpool’s Golden Mile. With dwindling, aging audiences and the shift to mega nightclubs being the centre attraction for the younger generation coming to the decaying seaside town in search of hedonism. Theodore Sugarfoot must face up to his bleak future.

Sugarfoot takes its inspiration from the gritty American cinema of the 1970’s, where flawed anti-heroes try to redeem their broken lives through a final act of sacrifice.
